Crossbows vs Compound Bows - PART 2 |
| This is a simple 2 part video comparing two functional set-ups on hunting bows, one a crossbow and the other a modern compound bow. Part 1 has operational demo and data. Part 2 has a practical based narrative. Neither of these are studio show bows but are truly field equipment. The time covered was inadequate to coven this subject in any depth so these are really just scratching the surface. Comments are more than likely disabled for this video. Not to be unfriendly but this subject almost always draws some of the worst in a very small, but very loud, segment of archers who simply hate what they dont understand. |

Buck killed on Sweet Plot with Horton Recon 175 |

Later on in the video, Mark uses the Recon 175 to kill a buck as it approaches a Sweet Plot. The Sweet Plot that is in the video is the same one shown in our commercial which we had planted just a week prior to this hunt! |

The Biomechanics of Archery |
| This video shows the basic biomechanics of the sport of Archery. It was created by Andy Wyss for KHS 473 (Biomechanics) taught by Dr. Eric E. LaMott at Concordia University in St. Paul, Minnesota. The video was filmed with permission by Andy Wyss at Gander Mountain in Woodbury, Minnesota. The instructions and lesson is given by archer, and Concordia student, Troy Lerum. Biomechanics is defined as the science of the internal and external forces acting on the human body and the effects produced by these forces. Knowledge of the interrelationship between the anatomy of the human body and the anatomy of the bow is fundamental in improving archery skill and technique. A primer for coaches and performers as well as an analysis of the sport itself, this guide provides an understanding of the sport without emphasizing any national or international rules, making it useful to archers throughout the world.
